COUNTRY LIFE (1995)

Plot

A successful writer makes waves when he returns to the family farm, after 22 years, with a beautiful young bride. Old grievances soon resurface, complicated by sibling rivalries, sexual subterfuge and romantic jealousies. It's just all too much for simple country folk! A darkly comic family drama and an adaptation of Chekov's "Uncle Vanya".
